Koei Techmo has been slowly confirming a growing cast of characters for Berserk Musou, but today it adds one more to its ranks, and it is a big one.
Today, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu confirmed the Nosferatu Zodd is indeed playable. Previously he was spotted in some previews in his "human" form, and was thought to be a boss during the Golden Age arc, but he is confirmed to be playable at some point.
Alongside Zodd, Griffith, Gutts, Casca, Judeau, Serpico, and Schierke have all been confirmed as playable characters, a list that suggests that the game goes fairly deep into the story.
Berserk Musou is set to be released on the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on October 27th in Japan. An English release is also scheduled at some point this fall, but no release date has been confirmed. North American and European audiences will also be able to purchase the game for the PC on Steam.
